Dailies

Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

Dailies helps adults plan and generate short films. This policy explains what stays on your device, what is sent to service providers, how long records are kept, and how to delete your account.

Who operates Dailies

Dailies is operated by Ozgun Genc. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].

Information we process

Your films and creative material

Projects, scripts, downloaded stills, video takes and exports are stored in the app’s local storage on your device. When you ask for an AI service, the app sends the material needed for that request, which can include a premise, direction, screenplay text, character descriptions, reference images, opening stills and generated-media URLs.

Account and device verification

Dailies uses Sign in with Apple and App Attest. We do not request your name or email address. We process Apple’s opaque account identifier, authorization data and device-attestation data to sign you in, prevent abuse and issue an installation credential. The server stores a one-way hash of the Apple account identifier and an encrypted Apple revocation credential. The app stores its installation credential, Apple user identifier and attestation key identifier in the device Keychain.

Age and AI permission

Before using the studio, we ask Apple whether you meet the 18+ age requirement. Where Apple's age sharing is unavailable or optional and declined, you can enter a birth date for an on-device check. We do not save or send that birth date or Apple's detailed age range. We save only the adult/underage result and check method on this device, together with the accepted AI disclosure version and acceptance date. A changed disclosure requires fresh permission.

Support and reports

If you choose to send a report, we receive your email address, take identifier, available generation or charge identifiers and the explanation or attachments you choose to share. We use correspondence to investigate and respond; prompts and footage are not automatically attached. Keep sensitive information out of reports. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any unresolved dispute or legal obligation.

Dictation

Optional voice dictation uses Apple Speech Recognition. Dailies receives the resulting text and does not save a reusable recording of your voice. Depending on your device, language and Apple settings, speech may be processed on the device or sent to Apple. If you later use the dictated text for cloud planning or generation, the text is processed like typed text. See Apple’s Siri, Dictation & Privacy notice.

Purchases and credits

Apple processes payments. We receive signed purchase and subscription records, including transaction and product identifiers, purchase environment, dates, renewal state, refunds and consumption status. We maintain a pseudonymous credit ledger of grants, holds, spends, expiries, refunds and purchase ownership. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.

Operational data

Our service records security and reliability data such as a shortened credential fingerprint, route, AI endpoint, resolution, duration, response status, latency, daily-cap usage and a random request identifier. Logs do not contain prompt text, full installation credentials, purchase payloads, media or speech audio. Short-lived quotes contain a cryptographic hash of a prompt, not the prompt itself.

Usage statistics

To understand how the app is used, our service counts, per day and per installation, how many plans, stills, takes, films and purchases were made and on which app version. The count is kept under a shortened credential fingerprint for 90 days and contains no prompt, script, media, account name or payment detail. We use it only to improve the app and do not share it.

In the app, TelemetryDeck receives counts of which screens and steps are reached — for example that a sample brief was used, a shot was locked or a film was exported — together with the app version, device model and system version, and a salted one-way hash of the device’s vendor identifier so that installations and sessions can be counted. These signals never contain prompts, scripts, photos, films, your account or payment details, and they are not used for advertising or tracking. You can turn usage statistics off at any time in Dailies Settings; the app then stops sending and discards anything still queued.

Where information goes

ProviderPurpose and data
AppleSign in with Apple, App Attest, StoreKit purchases, subscription management and optional Speech Recognition. Apple controls its own processing under its privacy notices.
Anthropic, through fal.ai and OpenRouterThe Director that writes your screenplay is Claude, a model run by Anthropic. Your brief, characters and the screenplay or shot-planning text reach Anthropic through fal.ai and its partner OpenRouter, which carry the request and its answer. We ask that the request is served by Anthropic only. Each of the three handles this text under its own policies.
fal.ai and its model providersCreative directions, reference/opening images and the inputs needed to generate stills or video. We request a seven-day expiry for uploaded and generated fal media and disable fal request/response payload storage. fal may retain service metadata and runner logs under its own policies.
CloudflareHosts our Worker, credential and safety counters, encrypted account records, purchase ledger and operational logs. The Worker routes requests to fal.ai.
TelemetryDeckUsage statistics: counts of screens and steps reached, app and system version, device model and a salted one-way hash of the vendor identifier, processed on TelemetryDeck’s servers in the European Union under its own privacy notice. No creative content, account or payment data.

We use these providers to supply the features you request, secure the service, verify purchases, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

Your choices and rights

You can decline microphone, Speech Recognition and Photos access in system Settings. You can type instead of dictate, choose an Agent brain in Dailies Settings, turn usage statistics off in Dailies Settings, and decide whether to submit each priced generation.

Use Settings → Delete account to remove your service account across devices, revoke its Sign in with Apple connection, erase operational account records and freeze the wallet. Local projects and footage stay on that device; delete them from Projects or delete the app. The billing archive described above remains so unused purchases can be recovered, refunds can be processed and the same transaction cannot be redeemed twice. A later verified sign-in can reactivate an eligible remaining balance without a second welcome grant.

Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel in Apple’s Manage Subscriptions screen. You may also contact [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. We may need to verify the request and may retain records required for purchases, fraud prevention, disputes or law.

Age and international processing

Dailies is for people aged 18 or older. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

Service shutdown

If Dailies stops generation service, we will announce a closing date in the app and through the App Store, stop new sales, provide a spend-down period, and then switch to collection-only mode. Playback, editing and export of local films remain available. Requests for refunds of unused extra credits are made through Apple; Apple decides refund requests. We keep the support channel and billing archive available for at least 180 days after shutdown.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice in the app when a change materially affects how creative or personal data is handled.
